Eastside Catholic will present the musical "Les Misérables" beginning tonight, March 17, and running through March 20.

Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Claude-Michel Schonberg's stage adaptation follows fugitive Jean Valjean as he seeks redemption and new life during the anti-monarchist June Rebellion in France.

More than 120 students have contributed to this production, school spokesperson Karen Hatch said.

Shows will take place in the Eastside Catholic Gymnasium, 7:30 p.m. March 17-19 and 2 p.m. March 19-20.

Tickets are available online or at the door.
