Master Chorus Eastside’s “Eat, Drink and Be Merry!” concert will focus on one of the great pleasures of life: food.

“We will sing John Rutter’s clever Banquet Fugue, a hilarious musical celebration of rutabagas by local composer John Muehleisen, a wonderful arrangement of Huddie Ledbetter’s Bring Me Little Water, Sylvy, accompanied by body percussion, and Java Jive, sure to please the coffee-mad Northwest, as well as other tasty selections,” said artistic director Linda Gingrich. “And since it’s Mother’s Day, bring your mother and receive a discount on her ticket!”

Tickets are $15-$20.
